Greg, Jelena, Steve and I went to Pecs, Hungary for an over-night get-away. There is no bridge crossing the Danube in this area, so we crossed the river by Ferry. (Jennifer graciously volunteered to watch all 5 kids!) |

Pecs is located about an hour away, it's a beautiful town and was even named the European Cultural Town of 2010. |

They grow their own grapes and make their own wine. You can't buy it, they only have it available in their two restaurants located in town. |

Later that evening we were invited by the owner to have a private wine tasting in the cellar. |

The owner is a client of Sylvester's and he arranged the whole thing. |

It was very cold down in the cellar... |

He used some sort of a cyphen to bring the wine up out of the barrels. It was really interesting. |

He told us all about the area, the climate, the types of grapes they grow and the history of the Inn. Sylvester interpreted for us. |
